It seemed like none of the events really related until I got to the end and saw it all come together. It was very enjoyable to read, but sometimes the writing felt off. I think this might be because it was originally written in another language and translated to English, so some things might not translate quite right.

Well, the series is clearly called revenge and that truly is all it is about. I just think it’s a bit over the top. No single man is ok apparently. Maybe Victor. And Faye wonders
how her life had turned out if she had killed Jack instead of Victor? As if killing is just your ordinary course of life. It was for her apparently. And again I don’t see it fitting her character how easily she fell for these 2 men.
On top of that I never really cared much about what happened to her. Not because I disliked her, that would’ve been good, a feeling. It left me indifferent however.
And then that end. I hate open endings (though I do not hope there will be a third book lol).
