Did he just seriously end this book. Like. That? I need more. I need to know what happens.

I honestly had a hard time getting into this book but when I did? Hot dayum. Those plot twists were on fire.

This one was good. It's technically my second book by the author, I DNF the first one, and from what I've heard about the rest of his bibliography I will not be picking up any of the rest of his books.

There were several good plotwists scattered. Moments in which the story made a surprising turn that I wasn't expecting, always for the better. The characters were smart without being invulnerable. Things we're turning against them, not because of stupidity, but for reasons beyond their control. For example, at some point someone realized the plates in a car were switched because the new ones were cleaner than the rest of the car.

Regardless of all that, I still wouldn't consider it a great book. Maybe thrillers are not my thing anymore. It's been so long since I've read one that truly gripped me.

Page turner and a lot of fun. Had me on the very wrong track at the beginning but I love it when I’m fooled! Might just have to read the sequel!

An engaging page-turner. I enjoyed how this begins as a rather straightforward modern take on the classic [b:Strangers on a Train|15677|Strangers on a Train|Patricia Highsmith|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1516177026s/15677.jpg|1187279] formula, but everything changes at the end of the first part and the story excitingly morphs into something completely different. The second part is equally interesting and nicely builds off of what has already been established, but the final portion is too short and doesn't quite measure up to the dark thrills that preceded it; I would have liked to get more insight into Kimball like Swanson provided for all of the other main characters.

I love the way this one ended! This was very fun but I had a couple of issues. Aside from the plot twist at the end of part one nothing really shocking and unexpected happened but it was still fun to read and I like how messed up Lily is. I hated pretty much every character but I guess I was supposed to anyway.

What a wild ride! There were so many twists & turns in this book, I just kept turning the page to find out what was going on. Every character is unlikable in their own way, and it was interesting to read about them plotting to kill each other, and their justifications for it. I did think that the ending was a little rushed, and would have liked to have seen a bit more; other than that, this was a fast paced book that kept me guessing right to the end.

I had thought this was going to be an updated Strangers on a Train, but it was not, and though it had some twists and turns, it felt like a series of too-sensational events?

SpoilerAnd what the heck was that ending. There's ending with a nod to what might happen next, and then there's ending without any payoff for what's come before!
