Overall, I didn't find the book exceptional, but I did like it. I found the first chapter really fun and cute. The second was cute if not a bit awkward with the almost sex scene with the master and child. The final story, however, was just... It was beautiful and tragic. The tragedy, however, just... I don't feel like it belonged. I found it extremely jarring because there was no hint of tragedy in the first two chapters and it suddenly came out of nowhere! Sometimes stories need to end with tragedy, but I feel like this one didn't need it. It just felt... Out of place. This could be that I'm just salty over how sad I am, but you know... I stick by what I say.
And to think that this was done by the Junjou Romantica creator!! BAH! My final book of 2016.

3 stars for the first two stories, 4.5 for the last one.
I found this both creepy and heartbreaking. I read it because I love both Junjo Romantica and Sekai ichi Hatsukoi. Usually, I'm not that big a fan of her art style, but it works really well here. And usually I also find human doll stories incredibly disturbing, and okay, it's not really any different here but I think what made the difference was the story about the doll's creator which was so heartwrenching and saddening it pretty much overshadowed the creepiness. :/ One scene pretty much gutted me, and I think it'll stay with me for a long time. (The one with the cherry tree branch. Oh god :( )

Me hubiera gustado mas si se hubiera adentrado un poquito en como funcionan los NH y si puedes sentir como los humanos, es lindo solo le falto ese detalle

Hybrid Child. Más conocido como "Soy Shungiku Nakamura y decidí hacer un manga que te deje el alma hecho mierda" es un manga de la misma autora de historias como Junjou Romantinca y Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, con 3 mini-historias que tienen que ver con esto de los niños híbridos, que son unos "muñecos" que cuando sus dueños le dan amor y cariño, crecen. Y poco a poco se vuelven como humanos mismos.
Sinceramente, aunque los gráficos eran nada comparados a los de ahora y las historias muy cortas, fue un manga hermoso. Una historia lírica realmente conmovedora llena de desesperación. Dolor. Tristeza. Amor.
"Las vidas que conocíamos desaparecerán,
Es por eso que guardé esa imagen,
De nuestras vidas que conocíamos tan bien,
Grabé esta eterna marca en mí.
E incluso si llega la mañana
Tan solo seguiré respirando normalmente...
No lloraré."
La dulzura de la autora es algo que nunca falta en sus historias. Cada frase, cada momento, cada historia hacen de Hybrid Child uno de sus mejores trabajos.
Amo esta historia muchísimo. Y si te da flojera leerte un manga, vale la pena de verdad ver el OVA que es lo más perfecto que mis ojos han visto en esta vida. No exagero.
Cada cosa me llegaba justo en el corazón. Cada mensaje se me quedó grabado en el alma.
Y por mas que sea yaoi, no es excusa para calificar esto como malo. Porque es todo menos eso.
Le doy 4 estrellas. Creo que debió tener más volúmenes porque todo parecía muy amontonado, pero la historia es tan bella...
Creo que es uno de esos raros casos en los que recomiendo más ver el OVA. Esta historia acompañada de la música, la animación y las voces se vuelve más bella, a un punto de ser perfecta.

I liked the first two stories in this volume but I don't know what to think about the third one. To me it felt out of place and overly tragic when compared with the first two. Overall, it was kind of meh. I'm still going to watch the anime. Maybe that will redeem the story for me.
