It’s ok so far. I probably like Victor the most. But I’ve Tag better.
I will continue on cause I’m curious.

I liked this more than I thought! I'm thinking because this had a darker aspect and I was all for it.  It was a slow burn for sure and I'm glad for it.

Ransom has my heart 💞 he's such a sweetie; although Malice is a broody grump and Vic has his own issues, I love them too. I found myself wishing Willow would stand up more for herself but her confidence at the end 📈📈 I WAS CHEERING FOR HER 🥳

Something I've been noticing from authors who write RH/why choose books, they always give the fmc 'a damsel in distress' storyline. It was played out in here but I enjoyed Ashwood's writing, I didn't even mind.

However, I got the ick like at ~80% until the end.. I didn't want to continue this but the cliff hanger has me wondering but let's see if I continue.

SPICY

What a way to start a new series! I ignored my responsibilities to read this book from start to finish. I had my thighs clinched together the entire time, it’s that spicy!

I loved this book,  it’s my first book by Eva Ashwood. Enjoyed the character building and liked the quiet strength you found in Willow. And how the mic’s are at the bottom of the criminal world still carving name for themselves and not already the bosses. The narrator for the willow was amazing . There were some interlude for the male narrator when he was Ransome where there were extra breathing sounds and teeth sucking which cracked me up. But fully could be my strange sense of humor. But loved how he was able to differentiate the brothers from one  another by tone and inflection.

But spoiler notice….

The ending irked me a bit, but I had to register she’s only 22 cause it was like wake someone up and yell at them, your life in danger where you going.
