I'd never read anything by Agatha Christie and decided to change that.

A classic Agatha Cristie Novel also if I am not wrong this is her first novel which she wrote after challenged by her sister to write a murder mystery.
And as challenged I was NOT able to figure out the Real Killer BUT one thing I felt is that the core element of this story is somewhat similar to "Death on the Nile"
Does anyone else feel the same?

I enjoyed the book.
But lets start with what I did not like:-
~But I think the murder in itself was a little over complicated. That is nit something i've seen in her later works. And it was honestly annoying to some extent. I don't think the suspects were fleshed out enough or that there were enough red herrings.
~The general Hercule Poirot clues were present at convenience. It was a little messy.
It wasnt Death on the nile(Though I knew the murder even before the murder happened, I still enjoyed the setting and the lush writing. I think its some of the best writing by agatha ) or Murder of roger ackroyd , which are my favourite Agatha Christie novel. But it was still good.
Fun parts:-
~Agatha Christie is always fun
~I appreciated the nature of the commentary on women by the narrator which was undoubtedly a satirical view of the male gaze. The narrator's commentary on women in the story, other men and typically his intelligence and diplomacy were very ironical and satirical and I was able to enjoy the story wholeheartedly because it was just so fun to watch Mr. Hastings suffer.

Seperti biasa, buku Agatha Christie emang ga mengecewakan.
Baru kali ini aku baca kisah dimana Poirot aja bingung buat mecahin mata rantai terakhir
