I loved this short, steamy, and funny novella! This is one of those novellas that you love so much you wish it was a full length novel. I have never read anything by this author before but can't wait to read more. I loved this novella!

What a fun read! Not at all what I expected, in that I thought it was a much longer and less sexy story. It was such a quick read and incredibly sexy! It was also hilarious, I just love Pipa the os neighbor that Gavin takes care of. Maureen is a great character, I particularly love that she not once, but twice is caught crying on the ice cream aisle. Great stuff! Sure to make you laugh and wish for a sexy snow day of your own!

So this book sounds a lot like Two Night Stand which is one of my all time favorite movies (Don't judge me, I'm in love with Miles Teller). What starts off as a one night stand turns into two nights after a snow storm has left the couple snowed in.
The main thing that really turned me off to this story was how she was crying all over town about her ex breaking up with her but falls in love with another guy in just one night.
I didn't read the other books in this series and this worked just fine as a stand alone for me. Also, I see it shelved as Christmas, it's not. Just a wintery romance.

After being jilted by her boyfriend of two years, Maureen O'Connell finds herself in a, well, strange position. Considering drowning her woes in a pint of ice cream, Maureen's encounter with a mystery man amidst the frozen foods is completely out of character, but does the trick of snapping her out of her misery. And when fate brings them together again, she's in for quite a surprise.

Snowed In by Sarah Title was a pleasant surprise for me. I'd never read any of Sarah's books, but this one looked cute (I'm a sucker for a story involving a librarian, being the book lover that I am), so I picked it up. This is a shorter read, but no less engaging for not being longer. Maureen's inner dialogue had me laughing, and Gavin is an absolute sweetheart, being just what Maureen needs to get over her ex. Their interactions are sweet, humorous, and pretty darned sexy, and I enjoyed reading their story. Sarah writes character and dialogue in a way that drew me right in and kept me reading straight through to see how things finished up. The secondary characters are great, too. I absolutely adored Pippa and Marv; they are a hoot, and we should all be so lucky to have neighbors like them.

The only thing that gave me pause with Snowed In was the darned insta-love aspect between Maureen and Gavin. It's fairly common in romances, especially if the story is shorter, but I have a hard time buying into the idea. Given the quirky way that they met, though, and the chemistry between them, I was willing to go along with the story and see how it played out, and Sarah did a nice job of tying things together in the end. I will happily read more books by Sarah, and would recommend Snowed In for fans of the genre.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I wasn't disappointed. Great story, characters I really liked and some hot and steamy scenes to warm any person up on a cold winter night. THis book is an excellent way to spend the day while a blizzard rages outside.

I really loved this novella - so much in fact, that I really wanted it to be a full length book. I loved the characters in this story, and wanted to know more about their story. The premise of being snowed in is such a romantic one to me, and I love the use of it in this book. I really think the characters Maureen and Gavin have a great chemistry, and I love the way they first met. Who wouldn't like to have a hot guy cheer them up in a grocery store, after being caught crying into ice cream while wearing your sweats? This is a fun book to curl up on the couch with, a mug of hot chocolate or drink of choice next to you, providing a temporary escape from the insanity that is December. Let Snowed In take you away!

Maureen gets dumped in the most horrible way and meets a sexy stranger while getting more ice cream.

I can't write more of a synopsis than that this book was that short, I might even call it a short story more than a novella. Even with limited the pages the author wrote characters with depth and a fun plot, the cause of the conflict was slightly predictable but with the short time line there wasn’t much else to choose. I would have loved to see their relationship progress some more, I like to read books/novellas that leave me with the confidence there is an HEA; not sure what is in the cards for Maureen and Gavin. Maybe we will see a glimpse of them in another book.

I received this novella from the publisher via NetGalley for my honest review

I was worried this was going to be total insta-lust, but when they parted ways after their kiss in the frozen food aisle, avoiding each other for a bit, I approved. It was just enough, they were interested and churning/pining/yearning until they reconnected. And as someone who has had a date that turned into a weekend . . . they can happen. This was a delightful bit of fluffy (but not ridiculous) fun.
