I'm gonna have to get this, seeing as I haven't read Winter's Passage or Summer's Crossing yet. (:

I'm so sad that this series is over :( I'm gonna miss it so much. It's so amazing and it's one of my favorite series now.
I gave Winter's Passage 5/5 Lily Pads because it was amazing and Meghan and Ash are my OTP.
I also gave Summer's Crossing 5/5 Lily Pads because it was awesome and I loved reading in Puck's POV. The only thing I hated was how short it was. After I read the last sentence I was like "That's It?"
And then finally of course I gave Iron's Prophecy 5/5 Lily Pads because it was an amazing conclusion and I'm so sad to see this series end. If you haven't read the series yet, you need to because it's so amazing and I don't see anyone talk about it anymore. Now it's time for me to move on and read the "Call of the Forgotten" series :)

I was so excited once I saw that the novellas were coming out in their own books. I don't read ebooks because what's the point of spending hours on the computer reading ebooks since I don't have an ebook reader? Besides the point, I'm so happy I picked this up! Though since I read the books in the beginning of the read getting into them again was a little hard. Winter's Passage, was eh. Interesting I suppose and suspenseful but it's hard to read that since having read all four of the books Ash and Meghan changed so much it's odd reading them in a different light again.

Summer Crossing, best one! I loved reading the novella from Puck's point of view. He is the only one in the series who we have not delved into his mind. I wish we could get more of that. I doubt we will seeing as that the characters from The Iron Fey series will only make guest appearance in Ethan's novel. But still there is hope! I loved that we got to see more of Ash and Puck's relationship in this. It showed what they were going to get into once again as they became friends at the end of The Iron Knight. It was fun trying to keep up with Puck's tricks.

The Iron Prophecy, ah, bit underwhelmed for this one. It didn't seem like anything new. We knew she would be having a baby. I mean that first dizzy spell? *sigh* I liked the small glimpse we got into the Iron Realm though. We we had gotten more and that it wasn't just centered around the prophecy that has been following Ash and Meghan since the beginning. It was a nice wetting of the palate though for the next series of books.

5 stars. I'm a huge fan of Julie Kagawa's Iron Fey series and am so excited with what I learned from Iron's Prophecy. Cannot wait to read the next installment!

Gosh, I get this huge feeling in my chest when I read about Ash and Meghan. And Puck as well, but you know what I mean! :)

Since this book is a compilation of all the novellas involving the Iron Fey characters that I love so much and I have already read said novellas and given it 5 stars, there's no point in giving it 5 stars again.
So as clever people that you are, dear friends, you go read this book right away because it is awesome!

Know that I'm with you always, even if you can't see me.

The Iron Legacy contains of the three short-stories

1.5: Winter's Passage, 3 stars
This one showed us how the journey of Meghan and Ash arriving at the Winter Court. Well, as Meghan had been again the naiv, slightly foolish little girl, I did not like this one so much. However, I was surprised by the appearance of someone ....

3.5: Summer's Crossing, 4 stars
This one was written in Puck's pov and my only thought was "YES". Finally we got see into his head and honestly ... it made me sad to read his thoughts about Meghan. Nevertheless, of course he made me laugh a lot during these pages.

4.5: Iron's Phrophecy, 4 stars
Well this one took place some time after the ending of the Iron Knight, showing some glimpses of Meghan's life. This one was my favourite, because it was really exciting! I even could not believe that future/phrophecy that could come ... at the same time, this short-story is like the pre-beginning of the Lost Prince. Thanks to this I will definitely read the Lost Prince!

On top to the short-stories, the German edition has an ultimate travel guide for the Iron Court and a list of all people and places.

I forgot how much I loved these character's. I've read Winter's Passing and Summer's Crossing before and I was really looking forward to The Iron Prophecy. WOW! I was not disappointed. Even though it was only a short story you get to see all of your favourite characters with it out being too much! It really set the stage for The Lost Prince! I really liked the guide to the Nevernever and the character profiles. My favourite was Grimalkin..his commentary was hilarious! I NEED The Lost Prince like NOW!
