supposedly lighthearted but there's a underlying darkness where you realise not much has been resolved, which reflects real life issues too, where when people don't act, things will never be resolved, and people still suffer.

This book was bloody brilliant! I laughed and even teared up by the end. Even the parts when I knew what was going to happen were wonderful. I slowly but surely warmed up to Harriet, and Will was a delight. The ending left room for possibilities and after my last read (philosophical and tedious) this was beautiful. My SINGLE complaint was the MC’s fear of flying. Not because I think its bad or silly (it is very valid), but because of her supposed reasons and statistics. As an aeronautical engineering major I just ughh at those parts haha, because I know that planes are waaaaaay safer than she made them sound. Nonetheless, an amazing fluffy read, about coming of age, female friendships, elitism, undermining authority when it doesn’t stand for good stuff and a whole bunch of more stuff.
