I was really intrigued by the way the first book ended, so I decided to keep reading the series. However, I felt a bit disappointed about it.

There were some hot scenes, some nice moments, but there were also a lot of confusing things...

I felt like something was missing, the story doesn't make much sense anymore. Like, the characters are so variable, and I know they have a lot of stuff going on in their lifes and their pasts, but the way Sean keeps changing his mind during the story makes everything confusing and even dense. And not only him, but also Avery.

Her situation is very complicated but come on, I find hard to believe some of her feelings or thoughts, it just feels unreal.

I guess I'll give the third book a try since I hate to leave series unfinished. I hope this gets better at some point.

What just happened! Lady a book should never end like that!

I'm really enjoying this series I just hoped the books were longer instead of separating them into lots of volumes

Loving this series so far. I like that Sean is the moody one and not the college orphan virgin! ha ha!

As always, Ward does a great job with detail and the depth of the story line. I like the little twists that happen throughout this story, it's not as cut as a booty call!

Can't wait to see what there is to learn about our kinky little rich boy!

Same opinion as the first book.

Very short. Needs editing. Pricey.

Damaged psychology usually pulls me in, but these few chapters this story is just okay. Predictable.

So, despite the fact that Sean Ferro has some REALLY series issues. He is dealing with some baggage that needs all sorts of levels of therapy... we somehow sympathize with him and somehow want to make him the good person that we met in book one.

He seems to be lost in this whole hang up he has.

All I know is that this couple has an amazing amount of chemistry that the lead male is refusing to acknowledge. Just when you think, hey, "This call girl with the heart of gold is going to save our somehow Jekyll/Hyde dude."

Nope.

Sean has to go mess it all up with his issues!

Thanks Sean, like I don't have enough tension going on while I'm reading about poor Avery who is being forced into high class prostitution by her best friend.

Seize the day, YO!

That's what I feel like her friend should say to her lol

I was grateful that I didn't have to wait for part 2. It was already released so I was able to quickly snatch it up and continue right on reading.

In the last book we learned that Sean is Mr Ferro, the very well off man who is prepared to pay a large sum of money for a virtuous call girl. Since she was already attracted to him and couldn't seem to stop thinking about him, Avery figured this is the only way she'd ever be able to get through it.

Problem is, Avery isn't sure what Sean wants. She knows he's drawn to her, as she is to him but he's looking for a call girl, which would mean he's not looking for an attachment. Can she be with him without falling for him? (I know I wouldn't be able to avoid falling for that man!)

Once again, HM leaves us hanging, begging at her feet for more. Sean and Avery's relationship is an addiction, as much for the reader as it is for them. And the waiting for part 3 began....

What I Liked:
This was sexy and Sean had me swooning.

What I Didn't Like:
Still don't like that it's in parts.

Favorite Quote:
“Ah, then it seems we are at an impasse.”
"I suspect the reason, but assumptions usually don’t turn out well.”
“Are you calling me an ass?”
“What?”
“You know what happens when you assume, don’t you?”
"Grade school humor? Really? Is that what this night has deteriorated into?”

This story starts right where book one ends and bam! there is hotness! Thank goodness because I can’t get enough Sean and Avery.

There are a lot of ups and downs in this story where things don’t go as planned. I feel bad for Avery but she works to get things back on track and keep her head on straight even though it’s a crazy situation. Sean is still dark and brooding but I felt like I got to see a more playful and sexy side in this second story. In the middle of everything there is a really fun, lighthearted scene and I absolutely loved it!

Avery's roommate Amber is a piece if work. She had a bit more interaction in this story and I really wanted to smack her. I loved that there was more Mel and Marty, I like their characters.

There was lots of hotness. I thought there first time together was perfect and Sean was sweetheart. I just want to peel back all those layers and know more.

There’s another crushing cliffhanger. I’m just going to assume that there will be one with every book so I don’t freak out at the end of each one. Sean is so complicated and I wish he'd open up and talk to Avery about his demons.

I’m officially addicted to this series. I love H. M. Wards style of writing, it totally draws you in!
