I wish every white American woman would read this, *especially* part two, because it so succinctly breaks down the natural-birth-to-alt-right pipeline I have been yelling about for almost a decade now as a birth worker. It’s not the primary focus of the book, but it’s extremely relevant in an era of pseudoscience and woo that can be so very, very dangerous taken to its natural conclusions and which goes so widely unexamined in leftist circles.

I don’t read nonfiction very often, but this was very well done and engaging. I’m glad I made the time for it.

This book finally gave me a insight- I could finally began to understand why people surrender to hate movements, beside the point of “just being a bad person”. I was shocked, disgusted, surprised; a roller coaster of emotion. Everybody should read this book.

I'm still calculating the stars, but as of right now it's around 4 stars.

This book is basically a follow up on "american swastika", and the notes are a decent reading list (although the citing of Dworkin & Rich in those concern me & I'll need to review it).

This is a must read to understand, not just the role of white women in the hate movements throughout the centuries in the US, but how these movements could not exist today without the help of white womanhood.

It's a very challenging read, but mandatory one.
