I really like this series. It is funny, kind of gross, and has a really interesting premise.

I love the idea behind this book. I like the world, where chicken is outlawed, and people are desperate for chicken. I like Tony, who has this special talent/sense, I'm not sure what to call it. But as another reviewer said, could there be more women that aren't dead, or a love interest? I mean, we meet this badass USDA agent and she is dead quickly. And I don't like how the women are portrayed, big boobs and scantily clad. I think it takes away from the story, and I find it disappointing for what I think could be an excellent graphic novel.

Dies ist der 9. Teil der House of Night Reihe und dieser hat mir wieder besser gefallen. Die Grundhandlung ist zur Zeit sehr interessant, da es viel um Kalona und Rephaim geht, die mich beide sehr interessieren. Allgemein finde ich die Rabenspötter interessant. Die Grundhandlung ist auch das, was mich an der Reihe hält. Die Umsetzung, also der Schreibstil gefällt mir leider nichts so. Zum einen ist die Sprachwahl ziemlich nervig, da sie sehr jugendlich ist. Zum anderen ist das Verhalten der Charaktere oft kindisch und theatralisch, auch die Rituale wirken auf mich zu überspitzt esoterisch. Aber mittlerweile habe ich mich daran gewöhnt und die Handlung, um die verschiedenen Vampire und die anderen Wesen kann mich einfach davon ablenken.
In diesem Band passierte wieder einiges und ich habe mir bereits den nächsten Band bestellt. Auch wenn ich die Bücher hauptsächlich als Hörbücher höre, empfehle ich anderen liebe die Bücher. Die Sprecherin verstärkt das Theatralische durch ihre Betonung noch.

Overall, still good, but I didn't enjoy this as much as I did Vol. 1. The storylines in this were a bit all over the place and they didn't get explored in enough detail. Also a bit too fast paced.

Chew honestly deserves so much more attention that what it's getting! Liked the 2nd volume more than the first one generally because I found it a lot funnier (and more shocking) ;) - also because the story went deeper (A++ subplots intertwining).

Chew'nun ikinci cildi de en az ilk cilt kadar iyiydi. Bu ciltte mizahtan çok aksiyona odaklanmışlardı biraz ama yine de çok sevdim.
Chu'nun partneri geri döndü. İlk bölümü okurken şok geçirdim ama sonunda bayıldım gerçekten. Özellikle Applebee ile olan sahneye.
Genel olarak "Galsaberry"ye ve Chu ile Amelia'nın bir araya gelmesine odaklanmış bir ciltti. Tabii vampir ve diğer kötü adamları saymazsak. Ama yine de iyiydi. Çizimler ve renklendirmeler harikaydı.
Savoy'dan hiç bahsetmediler neredeyse, ona ne olduğunu merak ediyorum. Bu yüzden direkt diğer cilde uçacağım.
