I had higher hopes :( maybe it’s cause I’m older than when I read the series for the first time, but it just wasn’t as magic as the other books

This book took me so long to read and it's so short. Completely demotivated to read it by the end of the series. I think it was too long at places.

However, this book was quite cute. Mostly because it was a wedding.

so let me get this straight
aaron is a jackass towards absolutely everyone but juliette, and in return, they get annoyed and snap
and suddenly they’re the bad people? they’re bullies?

„he isn’t self-adsorbed“ actually he very much is, he was terrible towards everyone the entire fucking series, and all he’s gotten in return is everyone bending around to help him.

idk man, so many things ppl said to aaron in this book were so incredibly satisfying bc they feel true. at least for his behavior at that time. he deserved to hear that. it’s like kenji towards juliette in the 2nd book of the shatter me series. he has no personality outside of loving juliette.
aaron is, at times, unbearable. i still like him but it’s true. but the moments between aaron and kenji were really heartwarming, and as always, kenji is my favorite character and every time he speaks i’m happy and sat.
it’s just disappointing that the plot in this book is so terrible that i can’t even ignore it like i usually do in my ratings for shatter me books. like, what? how does it make sense that the entire world is in shambles and they’re trying to reconstruct it but aaron and juliette just HAVE to have a luxurious grand wedding? couldn’t have waited a few months? especially since they’re all so mentally traumatized. it makes no sense that they’ve recovered so quickly mentally lol. it’s almost like none of all that happened ever at all. not to mention that none of the characters are like themselves in this book
and them wanting to do it in a graveyard…

what was the author on while writing this?

OH MY GOD THAT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL I LOVED IT

That was the perfect way to end the series and I’m crying at how much I loved it. First of all, I’m so thankful this book is told from Warner’s point of view. I loved him before, but after this book, he’s seriously one of my favorite book characters. I’m so happy for him. Also, Ella and Aaron’s relationship is one of the most heartwarming ones I’ve read about. I love them so much. Being able to read about their wedding really makes it feel like the series has drawn to a close. I’ll admit, when I first heard about this novella, I was hesitant because I thought it was getting to the point where the series should be left alone and done but this book was the perfect ending/epilogue. I hope it’s over after this because it was perfect. I loved everything about it from the way that Warner is relatable, to Kenji and Warner’s friendship, to Warner and Juliette’s wedding. I’m happy I got to read this novella.
