Given the cover image I should have realize there would be some tense elements to this story. Wow was I surprised along the way with where this story landed. Not a relaxing read but enjoyable!

It was fine. Honestly so much happened in this book I kinda found it overwhelming. I saw a review that someone said it was like a soap opera and I couldn’t agree more.

What’s the last book that kept you up way past your bedtime because you just couldn’t put it down? For me it was The Lion’s Den. I read it in one day because I couldn’t put it down.

When Belle has the opportunity to go on vacation with her friend Summer - how could she turn it down? Flying in a private jet to Italy, spending a week on a yacht - sounds amazing!! But you know what they say - if something seems too good to be true, it probably is.

This is a perfect summer read and I highly recommend if you want a true pageturner. Don’t read much about the plot - just jump in and go along for the ride!!

Thank you to Grand Central and Netgalley for the advance reading copies. I also bought the audiobook with a credit from Libro.fm and highly recommend the audio.

Picked this for an easy summer read. Skip it. Main character was insufferable and the plot was thin and too convenient.
