it's fun but again, not sure if i learned much from it? very pop sciency but with nice prose and doesn't talk down to you in that preachy tone, so A+ for that at least
would make a great coffee table book

Lovely writing but really a stretch to make it match the topic. I am much more interested to read her Lost in Translation as it seems more fitted to her "musings". Also, I just could not get over how poorly organized the book is. I'm pretty sure that was intentional, but for a short introduction book, it's more for sparking interest that learning anything new, really. There were a small handful of facts I didn't know, but no references whatsoever, and usually they were one-liners with no elaboration. The pictures are simple, quiet, and cute. Like I said, doesn't really match the topic of the universe - but maybe it would for someone else, just not for me.

A wonderful collection of short scientific but philosophical essays on life ranging from astronomy to biology to chemistry and how it all creates what we currently know as life and the universe.

A fun, fast, sweet, thought provoking read on life, science, space, physics, poetry, and more in little bite size 1-2 page “musings.”
