Eu gostei muito da trama e dos plots mas acho que o casal principal não foi desenvolvido e não teve quase nada deles, pareceu mais como uma introdução antes da história real mesmo?

Sweet holy hell

This book. This freaking book. Gobsmacked. Give me a book with just the dreams that these two shared and I would have been hooked. Add in mystery and magic (not just any magic but gypsy/tarot magic) and I didn't stand a chance. I've never needed book two more than I do now. Is it February yet! I've never liked January so I'm okay skipping it.

Phenomenal characters, suspense, and chemistry wrapped around a story that knocked me on my behind. This author is quickly becoming one of my favorites. 2019 is going to be a great year if this book is any indication.

This was fine. Not much of the mystery gets handled in this book. It very much feels like one book was split into two.

Roma King is nothing like I expected, everything I didn't know I wanted, and has left me spent and wanting. It's the perfect foreplay.

I am left with tons of questions but the fact of the matter is...I've been given an answer. I just didn't like the answer. I'm shocked and disgusted by the answer. But I have one. I just need more answers than I have questions.

This carefully crafted spider's web of a story is so intricate and carefully woven, I know I stumbled upon the middle. But where is the start? And why? So many questions...

I can't wait for book 2. Our firefly better set the night on fire. I'm fairly certain she won't have any other option.

❝I promise you this: I will never, ever hurt your heart. I’ll wrap it up in cotton wool if you’ll let me. Entrust it to me, and it’ll be my honor to defend it. I’ll make it sing in your chest. And if it ever stops singing for me, if I ever stop making it beat a little too fast, a little too wildly, I promise I’ll give it back unscathed. You have my word.❞

This was mainly due to the romance between the hero and heroine overshadowing all other aspects of the book.

—» Would I Recommend? Yes. It was still an enjoyable read, I just wish that the story components were more balanced.
—» Would I Read Again? Not likely.
