This one left me feeling melancholic. And also kinda numb. I liked the sad ending, it wasn't dramatic but it was still so tragic. The story was told from multiple perspectives and timelines, and I would've preferred that it focused on one character only. My numbness towards the violence described in the book made me sad. We're so used to hearing those events happen that we've gotten used to it, it doesn't shock us anymore. A book worth reading.
