I decided to check out something considered popular with my local library. This book is set to make the reader feel sympathy for basically a pedophile version of Brock Turner. It's categorized as a thriller, but it's really depressing.

The content is hard to digest. This mom is a rockstar and one of the most unselfish people ever. The absolute definition of unconditional love. This book wrecked me.

1.5 stars. I hate read this book in less than 24 hours because:
1) I have a one month free trial of Kindle Unlimited and I’m trying to determine if all the books are crap.
2) I’m a terrible insomniac.

Adrianne is the most loathsome and problematic character I can ever recall encountering. Complaining about having to send your kids to public school so your privilege can keep your kid out of the adult justice system and be sent to treatment instead?! It’s the audacity for me folks.

Wow. I’m at a loss for words. This book was so powerful, especially the end. The love of a mother knows no limits.

I had no idea what I was in store for. There were moments where I sobbed, hard. There was so many mixed confusing emotions. This book hit hard.

Difficult subject matter aside, this just wasn’t a well written book.
