Another novella from Have Yourself a Merry Little Scandal. This was fine but I never really connected with either character. I enjoyed it while reading but never felt any urge to pick it up again.

I'm on a serious regency romance audiobook kick right now. I loved All Duke and Bothered so now I can't stop, won't stop binging these.

Ethan Burnell is a hot commodity in society. The famous explorer with the Texan accent and lovely assets is all the rage with mothers looking for loves for their girls and married women alike. Cornelia Mortmain is a widow with a reputation thanks to her mother and she's seeking peace, and maybe a husband who wants the same if she can find one. Ethan proposes a mutually beneficial fake courting relationship where Cornelia keeps the biddies away from him and he makes her look all the more appealing to the eligible bachelors. Can they convince everyone they're mad for one another?

This was good. Not overly spicy or romantic, in my opinion, which was a bit of a drag. It was a quick listen and a fun regency romp!
