I really hope this isn’t the conclusion to the series but I loved this book!

Following rags to riches Colton and rich girl in hiding Gretchen as she is forced to approach him for her family’s distillery about him being their new face of the company. Lots of good forced proximity, one night stand hang ups, found family (for her), and a good amount of spice.

Reverse grumpy/sunshine trope? Check
Opposites attract? Check
Found family? Check

If you like any or all of these romance tropes, A Very Merry Bromance may be for you! Admittedly, I have only read the first book in this series, but I picked this up as an audiobook thanks for Penguin Random House Audio and didn't feel lost or confused. All the bros are back along with some new women who I didn't quite know but met quickly.

Colton, a country music superstar, is featured in this fifth installment of the Bromance series. He spent one night a year ago following Mac's wedding with Gretchen and has been pining for her since she walked out of their room with little more than a goodbye. What Colton doesn't know is that Gretchen has severe intimacy and trust issues, thanks to an entirely dysfunctional family background. Oh, and that family is one of the top whiskey makers and distributors in the country.

I loved that in this grumpy/sunshine trope, it's the man who's the sunshine and the woman who's the grump. When Colton and Gretchen reconnect because the whiskey company wants Colton to be the new face of their upcoming ad campaign, sparks fly, and Colton is determined to show Gretchen everything great about Christmas - and love. As the story tackles some important issues of childhood trauma, the bromance dudes and their wives fill in as found family with warmth and compassion.

There seemed to be a few loose ends at the conclusion of the story revolving around Jack and Evan and the mysterious document. And I especially wanted to know what happened in the book-within-the-book Colton had Gretchen read. Otherwise, it's a great holiday read and fitting conclusion to the Bromance series.

I really really love this series, and the premise of the book club is my favorite thing in romance maybe right now? I loved how much Colton loved Gretchen, and Jack was lovely too. This one was maybe just a bit long or something? And not as Christmas focused as I maybe expected. It was still well written and fun!

A quick audiobook. I enjoyed this one but did find things to get a bit repetitive. I loved the country music aspect and all things Christmas.

Well I can’t believe that was the last one 🥲
It wasn’t the fluffy Christmas story I was expecting but I was hooked.

I love this series so much and I hope this isn’t the end. I would love to see a book inviting the cheese man into the book club next

This was actually so enjoyable and one of the better romances I’ve read! The Christmas aspect wasn’t so in your face and I often forgot it was taking place at Christmastime so it overall slayed

This was the first time I’ve read one of the bromance book club books and I am now a fan and will be reading ALL OF THEM! This book was so much fun and had me laughing out loud so frequently. I love the grumpy/sunshine trope and I think I love the sunshine/Scrooge trope even more! This book had all the Christmas vibes I wanted and the romance I was craving. The banter was supreme and the male friendships in this book makes me with I was in the book club with them. This was superb!!

This book was so cozy, but also deep at the same time. Yet another great bromance Bookclub book! I always look forward to a Lyssa Kay Adams release, and this one did not let me down. Sexy, emotional and super cute.
