de mis favoritos de este año. lo leí en un día!!!! me encantó, el tema de los compañeros, el nudo (medio turbio pero se entiende), el hecho de que dos especies como los vampiros y licántropos se unan esta sorprendente! love it

This. This just was not it.

I’m all in a werewolf vampire enemies to lovers trope but this just fell short. The writing is chaotic and it’s the slowest burn ever with a low payout. Which I can handle if the plot is really good and has a shit storm in the end. This book didn’t pick up until page 186. And the “climax” of the plot didn’t occur until chapter 28/30 with Serena shifting tooooooooo then the next chapter it’s an afterthought???? No epic battle. Which was Extremely disappointing.

The only reasons it’s a 3 instead of a 2 is because I did enjoy the banter and intimate scenes. Especially when Lowe scents her and a few others. But it’s few scenes and toward the end more so.

this was my first official ali hazelwood book since i’ve only listened to a couple of her novellas. overall, it was a fun read with not much to it besides promising romance and paranormal aspects. however, i found the ending a bit lackluster, most of the dialogue (and inner dialogue) cringe (just personally), and i did not get the point of the breakup near the end. it served no purpose at all. in the end, this was an entertaining read and i don’t regret reading it.
