I love Chelle Bliss. Her work is always amazing. I have never read Eden Butler, but I look forward to getting to know her work as I loved this story. These two authors make a great duet and this is the start to a series that I am definitely looking forward too. Friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes. This is a beautifully written, smart story. I love the characters and their banter and I thought the storyline felt fresh. I can't wait to read more.

Holy hotness!! Chelle and Eden know how to deliver a smoking hot friends to lovers romance! Kane is the face of the local cable channel's DYI show. Kane is ex military and runs his crew like he did his men in the service. His is well respected, even feared by some for his stormy temper. He can keep his tough guy image with everyone, except Kit. The host of his show, and best friend, is the only one who gets a glimpse of the man behind the bravado. The unexpected loss of Kit's cousin throws her well ordered world out of whack. Her cousin's last wishes are for Kit to complete a bucket list, once she turns to Kane to complete. Should be no problem, right? No spoilers, but wait till you read what the last few items contain! Will Kane and Kit finally realize that what they have and what they feel goes beyond friendship? Or will Kit have to go to extremes to get Kane to act on his feelings? This is a wonderfully snarky, smoking hot, sexy story of two best friends finally realizing what is important in life! I absolutely loved it!!!

This was surprisingly steamy for what was actually a slow-burn romance. Friends-to-lovers is a genre that can be difficult to write but the authors have done an amazing job. I absolutely adored both Kane and Kit, they are wonderfully humorous and finely crafted characters. They had an amazing friendship, so it was no small wonder they were both wary of crossing the line and putting it at risk. However they also had a chemistry that was not to be denied, though Kit only admitted it when drunk and Kane tried his best to deny it.

I loved their story, it was warm, fun, sweet, a little angsty and very HOT. Their story drew me in and the quality of writing simply held my attention through out. They made me laugh and cry with their antics and if this book is anything to go by I can't wait to read Kiel's story.

I loved this book so much! It had just the right amounts of sweet and heat. Oh boy was there some heat! I can’t wait for the next book in the series, I’m so glad that Kiel is getting his own book.

The only regret I have about reading this book is that I waited so long to do it. I should have known, with Chelle Bliss and Eden Butler teaming up, that it would be one of the best reads of my year--but it was even more. This duo just BROUGHT IT in every category that's important to me in a sigh-worthy read. First and foremost, a hero worthy of a very long book hangover. Kane Kaino is, in one word, GAH. Built like a mountain and wired with the gruff nobility of a old-fashioned knight, this man is absolutely, completely perfect for Kit Carlyle, who has to face every milestone of her life, including the wrenching book opener, in the public eye. Kane's protectiveness and tenderness toward her is balanced by an alpha male streak that's utterly knee-melting--and makes for conflict that kept me turning pages as fast as I could. A wonderful, sexy, emotional ride of a story. I hope these two do more books together!

Kit is a sweetheart, but has been somewhat lacking in the hot and steamy department for a long time now. Her cousin has given her the push she needs by challenging her to complete a bucket list, left to her by her cousin that passed.

Kane is her ex-military best friend and co-star on their cable channel, and person that she has chosen to go through the list with her. So far he has be able to keep his feelings under wraps. Kane is worried that crossing the line will result in him losing his best friend and co-worker and since he values their friendship he does not want to jeopardize it.

I loved Kane right from the start, he was everything. Kit grief over her cousins’ death brought me close to tears. The support and strength that Kane offers Kit as she goes through the bucket list was swoon worthy, not to mention that the chemistry between Kane and Kit was HAWT,

5 Glorious stars!

A best friends to lovers story.
I like the story how it progressed.

Kits’ cousin thought Kit wasn’t living/enjoying her life. So, after her passing she left a bucket list daring Kit to complete it. So, she turns to her best friend to help her and to not let her quit until is done.

Kane as being having a crush on his best friend for a long time. But afraid that it might not work out and the chance to lose Kit as a best friend as stop him on persuading her in another way other than friends.
But when Kit shows him the list, he’s already decide it that there’s no way he can help her. That is until he rethinks about the three items on that list that has his pulse rising......... there’s no way he could do it, could he?

Kit as also being dreaming about Kane and what if their relationship could go beyond that. Could she risk losing him or could there be something between them? Does Kane sees her as something more than friends or is it only her wishing for it?
