I love nearly every book of these ice planet series but this was one of the rare few that didn’t really work for me.  while I could see how the idea of pairing them up might make sense, I don’t think it worked as written.  painfully shy  myself I thought I would relate to the FMC, but it felt like a back and forth as being shy or more of a loner, which is different so found her personality inconsistent/confusing while reading. Skarr was hard to like for the first half of the book, but as you learned what little we did  about him it made more sense of why he’s the way he is. Too much of the book was focused on Vivi versus a better balance between the MCs that I feel Dixon has in the other books.

Loved it

Another excellent installation in the Not-Hoth saga. I love how these two came together. Glad to see this follow the rule of Chekhov's C*cks. If two

My only complaint about these warm and fuzzy books is that I wish they were longer. I want to spend more time with the side characters and REALLY wish the OG crew could be featured a bit more. Everyone gets fleshed out in their book and then left behind :/
