First up, Hunter - I love that grumpy asshole. He’s fierce and loyal to the core, and whilst sometimes too stubborn, it all comes from good intentions. It was amazing to see him become more loose with the help of Edin. His devotion to his friends and the ones he loves is honestly one of the best things about him; he’d do anything for them, and that’s the best kind of person ever.
Edin - this sweet overgrown monster was just too adorable for his own good. This guy has had his sufferings but is still a sunshine at heart. His continuous worry over Hunter is adorable, along with his friendship with Wyn is adorable.
Charlie - I want to hug this man so much as he sounds like a cinnamon roll. His brotherly friendship with Hunter is something that everyone wants with a best friend.
Also more of Danny and Wyn? THANK YOU.
I will proceed to read anything this author now produces - her writing is amazing, with so much lush characterisations and no over the top descriptions of the surroundings, it’s just great.
Moderate: Body horror, Violence, and Blood

While the couples of each book are standalone, the story itself is a continuation from book 1 so I suggest reading them in order as a series. This one is a bit more of a slow burn romance than the previous.
The author also addressed some of the concerns readers had after book 1 about certain elements of world-building and potential plot holes, which I appreciated. She’s built the foundation of a great series and I look forward to continuing!
