Please read book one first, this book continues with Talia and Kostas' story, more suspense, twists and turns that will have you guessing and reading non-stop. It will hook you from the start, with so many emotions driving you on a full fast rollercoaster. The audiobook narrated by Jeff Holz and Sarah Puckett is fantastic, I love how these two work together, they make the story so good, the pacing is great, their performance is natural and quality is what they both achieve in this installment.

Stolen Lies is the second book in the Truths and Lies Duet. This book is the second book in Kostas and Talia's story. This book starts off one year after the first book ends.

Talia has been missing for a whole year. Kostas isn't handling this well. He will do whatever he can to find her. Can Kostas find Talia and save her? What happens when someone else who is close to him is taken? Can he save himself and those he loves from those who are against him?

I loved Kostas and Talia's story. It was a great listen, and I loved the narrators who brought this story to life!

This book… This book…

I’m still at a loss for words days after reading this book. This is romantic suspense at its finest. I will warn you that some parts of this conclusion to the duet are graphic, but really give you clarity on how the characters feel through their actions.

Every page will keep you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. That heart-pounding sensation you experience with suspense is provided here in droves.

Kostas defines ruthless hero and Talia is the strong heroine you hoped she would be, not the wilted flower everyone expects her to be. This couple’s bond is unbreakable, soul deep, and thrives in darkness guided by light.

I refuse to write too much to avoid spoilers, but I will say that K. Webster and Nikki Ash are a forceful writing duet and this conclusion is one that was worth the wait after the cliffhanger in Hidden Truths.

And as always from my reviews, my top quotes of the book:

“If I had more time, I’d turn my aggressions into passion so I could whisper all my evil promises against her skin – promises to take out our enemy and bring home our treasure.”

“That she was always meant to be loved by Pluto and to be the Queen of the Underworld.”

“Our love is violent and messy, destructive for those who dare near it. It slaughters and slays. Powerful and intimidating to those around it.”

What a epic conclusion to Talia and Kostas' story!
I don't even know where to start with my feelings with this book, it had me going through the ringer.
Anger, sadness, happiness all rolled into one book.
Kostas and Talia was a match make in hell. I would say heaven but Kostas is like the king of hell with Talia being his angelic queen. Two parts of a puzzle piece that click perfectly together. They balance each other out.
Talia grew stronger in this book, in the first book to me she was already pretty strong with everything but this was a different type of strength she tapped into.
Kostas was everything and more, he knew he was nothing without Talia and i loved that he knew that.
An amazing duet by these two authors. Well worth the read.
