Stolen Lies
Truths and Lies Duet, Book 2
By: Nikki Ash, K Webster
Narrated by: Jeffrey Holz, Sarah Puckett

After listening to Hidden Truths, I couldn't wait for this conclusion! Picking up where we left off, things are about to get worse! Thalia is missing, and Kostas is going crazy. It's been a year and he still has no idea where she is. Thalia is not as far away as he thinks and her will to get free is strong! Nikki Ash and K Webster weave an amazing conclusion to this romantic suspense. A little mafia, a lot of lies, family dissension, and a love that pulls it all together. Kostas is strong, passionate and will do anything to keep his wife safe. He knows what he needs to do and I love how despite his emotional drive, he gets it done. Thalia is so strong! She has a reason to live and her love pulls her through. Add in Selena and Aris, and this story has the villains we all love to hate. If you love a good, romantic suspense, this duet is just what you are looking for.

Sarah Puckett and Jeffrey Holz end the duet with a fantastic performance. Puckett continues her role as Thalia, strong and loving. Her voice holds a confidence despite the fear she has. I love it! Kostas comes through as the dark, alpha protector and Holz delivers. These two made this listen so good, it's one you do not want to miss!

Oh wow what a powerful conclusion to this duet. These ladies came to kick some ass in the final story. Mercy my head is spinning after all that's been said and done in this book. Kostas is the mafia king to his mafia queen Talia. This is definitely a must read.

The conclusion to Kosta and Talia's story was fantastic. The characters were so well written and kept true to who they were. These authors write so well together.
The story was the right amount of passion, dangerous situations and dialogue.
This duet is flawless and so highly recommended!

Stolen Lies is absolute vindication. It is everything the reader needs it to be. It is answers. It is redemption. It is freedom. And of course, it's a dark love that knows no bounds.

Essentially, it's everything girls with blackened hearts crave. We have the dark Mafia side complete with blood, gore, and guts. The dominant husband with his ample...skills! (Yeah, that too!) The extra hot chemistry and twisted love make me all gooey inside. I think the the icing on this intense cake is the unconditional love. The hopeless romantic in me was putty in the hands of everyone's favorite hotelier.

Wrapped up in the fanciest paper with an exquisite bow, Stolen Lies is all the truths placed before us like an offering. All the bad guys Sacrifice for the greater good...or our good. Truth was doled out. Lies were conquered. And I became another fangirl of the Demetriou empire...a willing supplicant for the king and queen.

It’s a year later, a year after Hidden Truths left us, Talia is still missing and Kostas is not handling it well. It was exciting to see where K Webster and Nikki Ash were going to lead us next.

This book is going to have you on the edge of your seat, there is so much that happens you won’t be able to stop reading until you get to the end.

Kostas is dark and sinister but he also loves with all he has, and he loves nothing more than Talia. Seeing these two and their devotion to each other does nothing but make you want to see what comes next.

This K/Nikki collaboration is going to give you so many things, but to list a few, you are going to get high suspense, tons of emotion and heat, so much heat!!

I loved this duet, go get it, read it, and fall in love with Kostas, Talia and Greece!

One Year passes?!
And entire fucking year passes between books and that’s an easy way to pull on my heartstrings as the reader. Talia has been missing for 12 damn months. And not even her powerful mafia husband with all the connections have been able to find her. He’s a mess. Drinking. Numbing himself. All leads lead to dead ends.

Until he decides to sober up and look closer to home….
“I’m coming for you, moró mou. I’m always coming for you. And one day I’m going to find you.”

When these two reunite - all hell breaks loose when Kostas wants to know the hows, the whys, and the who’s for who is responsible….

Spoiler Alert

I absolutely loved Hidden Truths and it was a bit torturous waiting for Stolen Lies (which seems appropriate given who the hero is *wink wink*) because of the cliffy, but also just because I love Kostas and Talia! So you can bet that as soon as Stolen Lies appeared on my kindle, I opened that sucker up and started reading as soon as I had free time. And ohhhh, it was sooooooo good! It brought it even better, harder, and more than the first book and I just couldn’t get enough. It was so intense and kept me on the edge of my seat and flipping the pages as fast I could to find out what would happen next. There were times when I literally could not pull myself away from this book. Stolen Lies was full of action, badsassery, thrills and beautiful, heartwarming moments — it was just amazing and I loved it and Kostas and Talia so much that I really want to revisit them again someday!

Ok the first few chapters of this book really pissed me off!!!

Literally I was so annoyed took me ages to get into it. However once you get into it and you get more of an explanation this book definitely redeemed itself slightly. I definitely still loved the Greek (sort of) mafia environment.

I way preferred Kostas to Talia in this book. I also loved how he gets on with Talia’s mother.

I was definitely invested but I wouldn’t say I was on the edge of my seat desperate to find out what happens. I felt a lot of time was wasted at the start on useless sections and then the second half of the book were definitely rushed or the same situation just repeated which I wasn’t a fan of. There were a lot of teases I felt or plot potentials that I felt could have been explored but weren’t unfortunately.

Overall, I loved the writing and the second half but it just lacked any originality for me. I’m not really sure what else to say about this book.
