Holy gosh, this book was heavenly divine. (See what I did there?) It was such an amazing conclusion to the series; it really wrapped things up and gave a somewhat definite conclusion while leaving room for interpretation. Within this book, there was an amazing, suspenseful plot; intelligent and genuine characters; phenomenal character arcs; three dimensional villains; unpredictable plot twists; and a romance that had tingles running throughout my body.
I felt that so much happened in this book, opposite to Hallowed. And the thing that happened with Angela (what, I shall not say) was extreme and I'm glad that Cynthia Hand took that giant leap because it's realistic. Throughout the plot, there were many twists and turns that had me going WHOA. Everything in the story was connected, as well, which was pretty cool. The characters were amazing and Clara was an annoying little beyotch like most other YA female narrators- she was cool and rational. And, the character arcs with Samjeeza and Jeffrey blew my mind, especially Jeffrey. In this book, the author explore Jeffrey more; his insecurities and what he really wants. Seeing Jeffrey's vulnerability behind his tough exterior really touched my heart.
Let's not forget the romance. The love triangle of course, I could live without. And I honestly couldn't choose between the two guys because both are amazing, considerate, kind, funny, caring... it goes on forever. At the end, I knew whoever she would choose would give me a mix of emotions, both happy and sad. I can't say I didn't expect who she chose; I did, only because Clara stayed true to her heart and what she wanted. I can say that I did cry (with dramatic music in the background) which is a huge thing for me at the moment as I haven't cried in awhile. P-E-R-F-E-C-T.
Overall, I LOVED this book and I honestly recommend it to everyone, even the skeptics after Hallowed. It offers a great closure to the series and answers a lot of questions. And c'mon, who doesn't want a little more Christian and Tucker in their lives? ;)

Really, more like 3 and 1/2 stars, but you know how it goes. It's not that I didn't like it, I just didn't love it as much as the first two! But still really good. It was a nice ending to a good series.

Clara remained pretty awesome. Even while angsting about boys, she manages to be kinda badass.

The romance was good, but admittedly I kinda shipped the... other ship. BUT WHATEVER, that's not really important. It was still cute and right for the characters. But, you know. SHIP FEELINGS.

I was gearing up to write a raving review about this book, until the end came and now I don't think I could ever recommend this series to anyone (same thing happened with Blood Red Road--loved the books, but the ending sucks so much I can't recommend it). I admire the author for trying something different in terms of a romance line, but honestly CHRISTIAN! I was so thoroughly disappointed by the ending I don't think I'll ever read the series again. I became unconvinced of the love between Cara and Tucker during the 2nd book--it became way to cliche and uninteresting--yet here we are the end of the series looking it right in the face. So not cool.

Plus:
Writing style--unique, realistic, very easy to read and visualize

Minus:
The freaking ending! It sucked!
Okay, can we talk about how easy the end was? No real obstacles. A villain appears who apparently we've been trying to catch this whole time? Cara just all of a sudden had unending strength to get through everything, seriously? The series honestly stopped running the race a mile before the end. What happened?!

Only giving 2 stars because the writing style really is good.

I loved this book from the very first page and my love for this book only grew. But I still love and hate this book at the same time. I mean, book is fantastic, plot is amazing and I was really enjoying it but I can’t get over the end. I had a feeling that Cynthia Hand couldn’t decide who should Clara be with at the end and that she decided that at the last moment so I also hoped until the last moment too. neimenovano

Do I even have to say that Christian is my favourite character? I love him so much! I love Angela too, sometimes I can find myself in her character and I loved her in this book even more than in Hallowed. I HATE Tucker! I still can’t understand how could I ever like him. I don’t have some special opinion about Clara. She was okay but I hated her at the end, that’s for sure. She made the wrong decision! One of the most interesting characters was Samjeeza (even though I have no idea how to pronounce his name). His story, his character… it was amazing. I never thought his character would have such grat background. I was so surprised and I can say he is one of my favourite characters in this book too.

I have to say my opinion about the ending. I can’t keep that in myself anymore. SPOILER ALERT! Clara and Christian should’ve been together at the end! They were my OTP! They are soulmates, perfect couple, they went through so much together. She can’t to that to them. To me! Even though I read the spoiler before I read the end I didn’t want to believe it until I read it. Why the hell did she ended up with Tucker?! She should be with Christian! The last conversation between Clara and Christian made me cry. It was beautiful. Only few pages before the end Tucker died and I was so happy. It was too good to be truth. Of course, Tucker came back to life and, of course, now he was supernatural too. Then those two had back together moment. Tucker should’ve died at thet stupid fire in the first book and everything would be great! I can’t describe how mad and frustrated I am because of ending. I love Christian so much, he is my favourite character in the whole series and Clara was that only piece that missed for him to be whole. When he let her go and told her to be happy with Tucker and that they will maybe, after hundred years, when Tucker die, be together. I cried so much at that part. How can someone not like him? I thought I couldn’t possibly love him more than I already did but I realized that is not true. I loved him even more after that. I love him so, so much and he deserves so much more that he got, so much more than Clara gave to him.

Despite the terrible ending, Boundless is an amazing book, probably the best in trilogy (I liked it mostly because finally Clara and Christian are at the middle of the plot and there is no Tucker). It would be perfect only if the last chapter is different. If Tucker stayed dead and if Clara realized that she and Christian are meant to be, I would be happy. Just one damn chapter! This way, my heart is broken and I want to cry again.

I need to get my thoughts together, as a lot of things happened in Boundless.

This and other reviews can also be found on my blog (un)Conventional Bookviews

Boundless is kind of without bounds, and in some ways it could have been better if it had some boundaries. Clara, Christian and Angela leave for Standford at the very beginning of Boundless, and the readers follow them through information as they arrive. The first night, they are taken out of their rooms by the older students for a run around campus in the dark, and Clara gets to know one of Angela’s roommates, as well as the PHE who’s part of her dorm. She also manages to use just a tiny bit of glory to heal a girl’s broken ankle – without anybody noticing that something is up.
