This one has a lot of build up and it's actually a satisfying conclusion. The main characters have a pretty kinky relationship. It's interesting to see nakamuas home life isn't an explanation for her rudeness and antisocial behavior. This allows her character to remain a mystery

An extremely good continuation of the story. The unexpected plot progression was extremely compelling, amping up the story obce again. There was so much character development this volume to! (...Just not in any ethical or moral sense haha)  I'm very eager to get to Vol.5.

After finishing the series I can concur with the popular consensus. I find that The Flowers of Evil does improve as it goes along.

The story of these manga captures a unique question I do not typically see. When one has made a grave mistake in their life, how do they move on? Distance can only solve your external issues, internally you're always you. How do you forgive yourself? How do you convince yourself you deserve happiness?

From the pits of perversion and filth, how does one pull themselves out and do they deserve to see that light?

??? i know teenagers can be ridiculous and pretentious but there's usually some logic to the pretension. i have no idea where kasuga thinks he's going with this whole 'other side' business. 2 stars
