Interesting concept, entertaining read

Zevin’s ability to deal with deep, complicated, often heavy concepts with such a light touch is impressive. Young Jane Young has the same light feel to it, but both books leave you thinking about them and their arguments long after you’re done reading them. This is a rare talent and makes these books both enjoyable and impactful.

Super engaging novel about this afterlife idea - kind of feels like a response to one of those old Tumblr prompts explored. I enjoyed the read an loved the last couple of chapters, I do with the novel delved into these years a bit further but maybe that would remove the magic of the time lapsing.

Even on Earth, it’s difficult to go ever go back to the same places or people. You turn away, even for a moment, and when you turn around, everything’s changed.

perfect book for when you’re in a reading slump because it is an easy read, not as much happened as i expected though. But was a feel good book nonetheless.

Yes a bit juvenile and sappy, but I liked it anyway. It has a great premise and it's easy to read.
