Wow what a mind f**k. 

Three women think about their relationships to themselves, men, and the world around them. They think about how they treat themselves how society treats them instead of with gentleness and kindness. How they accept the love they think they deserve. And how things get worse before they get better. 

This narrative will stay with me for a longtime. Who in my life am I letting abuse my generosity when they don’t deserve it? Where can I treat myself kinder?

I did not like this book. 

I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I read it but I was disappointed all the way through. 

The book is relatable to anyone in early 30s or late 20s but each of the characters felt insufferable in their own individual way. 

I was hoping for a big turning point at the end but it all just fell short to me.

I really enjoyed this book! Great audiobook except the voice actors randomly switch mid chapter??? That was kind of strange.  Like it’s unnecessary to have a “cast” if it’s not going to be a different voice for each character it just frequently switch back to the main narrator. This book is cringey but it’s supposed to be. Perfect for anyone dating in their twenties. I didn’t like all of the “hot takes” the characters seem to have but that just made it feel more like real people ?? Some parts HIT HARD and you’re screaming at the characters the whole time to DUMP HIM even though you know you’d make the same terrible mistakes in real life
