It was short and silly and not at all believable, but still kinda sweet. I can't at all stand the whole "I love you" after one kiss kind of fairytale that this one had going on, but it was in another world and she was kind of... half dead, half dreaming? and that was enough for me to let it slide.

However. The story mentions that since she could visit this realm of dead people, she must already be close to death and would therefor just hurry it up a little by ending her life to be with Nathaniel. Now this might just have been something he said to make her stay (or come back) but to me it's not the kind of thing you should add to your story and then not do anything with. It could have been turned into a stunning ending with her still choosing herself, but instead she's there having tea and this is never brought up or explained.

Overall it was still a nice little listen while waiting for my ride and I don't regret giving it a go, I just wish it had been executed a little bit better.

This was such a fast listen, but it was SO FUN!
I loved the narration, the short list of characters, and the story, and the self realization of Sally!
I’m only sad this wasn’t longer!!
Rachel, make this a physical book!
