Had to end this, the male character was a boarder line stalker. He also cannot take no for an answer and it was really creepy to me.
It also had insta-feelings on both sides and the explanation of it's presence was chalked up to "wow, I don't know what I'm feeling, I don't know why I'm feeling this way."
Not for me, AT ALL.

Love
I love the characters and the storyline. The slow build between Warren and Carmila was just right. I love how they didn't jump into a relationship, even though it was an insta-connection between them. Warren was an amazing male lead who stayed true to his words. Carmila was the perfect female lead who stuck to her words and was a strong and independent. I loved everything about this book.

Very predictable and yet unrealistic. I liked Camila initially but then she became annoying.

The relationship part of this book was good and I enjoyed Camila and Warren's chemistry. However, the beggining confilct was never resolved and we didn't get to see a lot of football.

I was lucky to receive an Advanced copy of this book to read before release. 4.5 stars
I read a lot of contemporary romance books and sometimes they all start to feel the same or there just isn't that something special to make the book memorable to me. This was a different kind of book at least in my eyes. Claire writes in a way that you feel like you're falling in love with the characters as well. I loved Camilla she had everything you want in a heroine she was smart and independent, resilient she wasn't looking for a man especially not a man like Warren Silva and no matter how hard he tried she resisted, made him keep proving he wasn't his stereotype over and over. I loved how they both learned and grew as people by being together. I caught on to the big "secret" right off the bat but that still didn't take away anything for me. I enjoyed all the supporting character, Camilla's family and people in her neighborhood especially!
