This book was, for lack of a better word, peculiar.

I thought I was going to lose interest pretty quickly with this book because the action didn't really pick up until about halfway through, but once it did, I couldn't put it down. Very interesting, very original plot with great characters. Can't wait to read Hollow City, the second book in the series.

I loved this book and the characters that were in it. I felt a real connection could be made to each of the characters and Miss Peregrine herself. I have to say the book was not entirely what I was expecting, I thougt it would be slightly more spooky but none the less I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
While I liked the ending, I felt it came at the wrong time and I was happy to know there was a second book, otherwise I felt alot of questions would have went unanswered.

Enjoyed the concept of the pacing, but I was a bit let down to discover this is YET ANOTHER book that strives to be part of a series. Can't any books stand on their own any more?
