I have mixed feelings on this book. On one hand I loved Creighton and Annika, they're amazing. But I also really di n't like Creighton a good portion of the time as well.

I love that they ended up together though. I think they're good for each other. They bring out parts of each other that wouldn't otherwise have been brought out of they didn't have each other.

I really enjoyed this book overall. I just thought it was a bit slow and it didn't keep my attention hooked the entire way through. Out of the two books I've read so far from this series, this one isn't my favorite. I preferred the first book. But I would still recommend this book as well.

Most of this book felt like watching a car crash, not enjoyable but unable to look away. There were points when I thought it wasn't horrible or that it might be getting better but would soon make me cringe again. Some things about this book just gave me the ick. I've DNF'ed books for way less in the past, but my curiosity got the best of me, and it was not worth it in the end.

Creighton was a boring guy Rina Kent tried to spice up by giving him weird kinks and making that the plot. God of Pain my eye. Annika became annoying and had no nose. Pink is superior to purple.

I devoured this audiobook! I loved the first one even though the first one was so dark. I had no clue how Glyn and Kill would end up in a relationship, especially after how those two started, but there were so many twists and turns. In this one, we follow Creighton and Annika, and we get to see this one start in the previous book because she would not leave him alone, and Creighton is Glyndon's cousin. She just annoyed him every time she got the chance, but we got to explore that more in this book. We were starting to set up a fake dating scenario because Annika's mom promised that she wouldn't let the Bratva force her into an arranged marriage if she had someone she loved, but even though it was a massive thing at the beginning of the book we lose track of that really fast. This one was a different kind of darkness than the first book. This one was more BDSM and family issues, but I still enjoyed this book, and it had a lot of shocking moments. But ultimately, I liked the first book more. I can't wait to jump into the next book because I'm curious how Jeremy's book will go, and I really hope Bran gets his own book!
