Yessss !! I absolutely loved this book just as much as the first if not more !! I personally loved Creighton the most so far !! A silent brooding guy who can’t be bothered to speak to or acknowledge anyone becomes obsessed with the bubbly bright outgoing FMC? Shewww! His efforts for her are absolutely heart stopping & delicious!! Seeing another side of him with her was absolutely chefs kiss

I really dislike Creighton. The man was a brick wall with issues that are not hot. Adrian was top tier though.

4.5 Stars! 🤩

Annika & Creighton both know pain like no other. Annika is an “ivory tower” mafia princess: locked away and forced to obey her controlling family’s wishes for her. Meanwhile, Creighton is haunted by his abusive past; prior to his adoption by the King family.

These two were a rollercoaster. Plot twist after plot twist. I could never have predicted all that happens with them before they get to HEA. Great continuation of LOG series! Rina Kent is quickly solidifying herself as one of my favorite authors. Cannot put these books down!

Tropes:
- Grumpy x Sunshine
- Forced Proximity
- Dark Past
- Anti-Hero
- Mafia
