Meh.. just.. meh. Kind of a modern day Cinderella story that I didn’t really buy into.

I am glad that I’m over the stage in my life where I thought possessiveness was romantic. This book takes that to another level.

This book is terrible. I really dislike the whole rich guy X homeless girl trope- he barely knew her and fell for her based solely on vibes. It felt cringey to read any part of this. The age difference was the cherry on top of this crap sundae.
Graphic: Cursing and Sexual content
Moderate: Drug use, Toxic friendship, and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Addiction, Blood, Car accident, Death of parent, and Abandonment

The audiobook recording was more enjoyable than the actual plot. Bethany goes from being homeless and having nothing to being swept off her feet by a millionaire and having everything. Just incredibly unrealistic.
