Despite taking a while to finish it, I enjoyed this one. The advice was useful, and while I’ve read similar advice elsewhere, something about the way Singh explains things helped it sink in more effectively for me.

I was skeptical about buying this book as it was colorful(nothing wrong with that), had a picture of Lilly on every other page, and very less prose.
Also, from the looks of it, the book felt like it was meant for a different demographic.

So, naturally, I didn't buy it.
However, I listened to the audio book.
Personally, I loved listening to the book in her own voice.
Nothing different from other self help books, but if you're a superwoman fan, you'll like the "out of the blue" chapters, where she compares her life before and after her success.

Great for listening while travelling.
Instant mood lifter, if that's even a thing.

So much fun! Definitely go with the audiobook if you can. I didn't know who Lilly was before this, but I'm impressed by her ability to craft a lighthearted self-help book that kept me enthralled until the end. I'm a fan of IISupergirlII now!

I've known about Lilly Singh almost from the beginning. To be honest, I thought this book would be just like another book from a Youtuber which was only published to make money.

I was completely wrong.

This is one of the best books I've read so far. It shows so much honesty, witty, maturity, it's fun and challenging.

I've loved it so freaking much!!

I didn't know who Lilly Singh was before reading this book (I'm not a huge YouTube person) but I decided to pick it up because it won a Goodreads award. While it does have a lot of the repetitiveness of similar books in this genre. Her advice was tangible and more palatable than most and overall I enjoyed it.

Deleted my old review, this is not a five star read. Skimmed it again and OH MY GOD why did i think it was well thought out? The chapters end literally as soon as she starts explaining what she is trying to say.

I love you lilly, but this aint it chief.

This is the only self-help/ motivation book I've read and it's the best. Everything that Lilly has written makes so much sense and is basically common sense, but we need it spelled out for us sometimes.

Totally recommend this book
