This book very much exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed the first two Helen Hoang books, but this one was just so much deeper. It is still very much a romance but it really focuses on Anna coming to terms with her diagnosis of autism and the burnout she experiences caring for her I’ll father. I loved it!

Cheesy, the ending was rushed, all of the characters minus Quan were extremely annoying at times, but was an easy read.

This was very good. While the love story wasn't my favorite of the three, it had depth and poignancy that I wasn't expecting. I have to say that the most moving parts were about being a caregiver to an unwell relative and that the author's note at the end brought tears to my eyes. Caring for people as they're dying is a unique experience- both stressful and oddly beautiful at times. It's not easy and it's not fun and there are times it completely overwhelms you. We need to do better at helping people as they're dying as a society and that includes offering more help and resources to family members as they struggle through it.
This whole series was very good and I recommend it. It's pretty eye opening and helpful in terms of learning about people on the autism spectrum and all three stories were wonderfully romantic.

I did not like the second book in this series, idk why but this one was just as good and cute (and slutty) as the first one

This book is my personal favorite of the trilogy. I have never related more to a protagonist. The book follows the growth and development of the characters as individuals, with their romance as background dressing, which made the story more intriguing to read seeing where the characters were going to go both together and separately. Helen Hoang makes you fall in love with these characters in a way that is unique to her writing style. If you want to read a low stakes romance that will tug at your heartstrings, then this is the book for you. The perfect conclusion to this trilogy.

I liked this a lot more than The Kiss Quotient and now I’m considering reading book 2 because of it. It was very hard to read Anna’s struggles with her family but I also liked that the book wasn’t just about the romance, and had some meat to it.

Really enjoyed reading this book. I love how it touches on masking and how much harder it is for women to be diagnosed with autism. I loved that it takes about caregiver burnout as well as autistic burnout and how even though Anna’s family had the money and the resources available they still invalidated her experience and made it seem as though she was being difficult for being different. I love Quan and how he supports Anna unconditionally. Usually romance novels are kinda sappy and the problems they go through aren’t really problems (IMO) but this book really did a deep dive into so many topics. Loved it; favorite of the series. 4/5

ive never felt more seen when reading a book. kinda cringe author voice that constantly violates the "show don't tell rule" and also i was a little disappointed that i thought i was gonna read about a woman having all types of one-night stands and that's not what i got. however this was such a stunning narrative of a neurodivergent woman re-learning how to navigate her world after diagnosis, learning her worth and what she deserves from a partner, how relationships with family change as an adult, and more, that i had to give it 5 stars.
