Another book off the physical TBR! I really enjoyed the Mystery, but Sookie Stackhouse broke me, I’m more invested in her storyline!

This didn't draw me in as quickly as the first book in the Sookie Stackhouse series did, but by the end I really enjoyed the characters and the town. Mister Snuggles is my favorite.

Eh wasn't all that impressed ...
The 3rd person writing style took some getting used to. The characters were fine, the mystery was well written, but it was just okay for me overall. I found it to be a bit bland overall.

I'm giving up on this right now. I'm five chapters in and bored. Honestly, the writing doesn't even sound like Harris and it makes me wonder if it's really a ghost writer. It's so slow and nothing is happening. I'll try it at another time.
