This book was everything and more. Books like these are the reason why second chance romances are my favourite. They make you cry, they give you butterfly’s, they make you mad and they sure as hell make you work for the happily ever after.
This book heavily revolves around healing the relationship between Molly and Finn so don’t expect a crazy plot. It’s simple, but if you’re a second chance lover like me, then you know that it makes the story all the more compelling and emotional. Their relationship takes centre stage as they figure out why their marriage fell apart and if they can, or even want to fix it.
I shed a few tears with this once, once again the characters were so imperfect that it made me love them all the more. I was routing for them from the beginning!

Letters to Molly buku kedua dari Maysen Jar series bercerita tentang Molly yang menerima surat tanpa nama yang diketahui itu tulisan mantan suaminya, Finn. dimana setting cerita buku ini lima tahun setelah perceraian mereka. tiap minggu nya, Molly selalu menerima surat tak terkirim yang pernah Finn tuliskan di masa laluㅡyang ternyata pengirimnya bukan Finn.
walaupun sudah bercerai Molly dan Finn masih berhubungan baik demi anak-anaknya, meski diawal perceraian Finn bersikap dingin pada Molly. meskipun begitu, Molly bahagia dengan hidup sendiri bersama anak-anaknya, sedangkan Finn membuka hatinya pada yang lain. jauh dilubuk hati mereka, sebenernya mereka masih saling mencintai.
ini adalah second chance romance, penyebab perceraian mereka tidak hanya ada pada satu pihak melainkan masing-masing memiliki kesalahannya sendiri. buku ini sedih banget pokoknya mangkannya dari awal aku pengen banget baca buku ini :""
dan dibuku pertama pun aku lebih nangis ketika kisah mereka lewat, padahal buku pertama itu ceritanya Poppy dan Cole. dua-duanya bagus kok. meskipun berhubungan, kedua buku di series ini bisa dibaca as a standalone. jadi bebas mau baca yang mana duluan.
⚠️ ada hint cheating dalam buku ini. Aku tidak membenarkan hal tersebut, tapi kalau kalian baca buku ini kalian akan mengerti mengapa hal itu terjadi.

Letters to Molly is my kind of romance - because second chances just rock my boat! And the love between Molly and Finn wasn't dead - but it was in need of lots of help. That help came in the original way of old letters Finn had written to Molly, but never given to her. Then, one day, they started showing up in her mailbox. Forcing both Molly and Finn to deal with both the past and the present.
As always, Perry writes a heart-wrenching story. And yes, I was teary eyed at times. But I was also happy at times. I absolutely loved how present the children were in this novel, they were well fleshed out and had a real purpose in the story.
