Enjoyed this more than I thought I would! Smart and funny and full of great old film references. Happy listen.

Super cute Christmas love story that reminded me of a hallmark movie. It was a quick story but the author did great with crafting the characters and plot line in a short amount of time. Love loved it!

4.5 stars rounded up

This was absolutely adorable! Definitely my favorite Christmas book of the year so far.

I subtracted 1/2 star because I really dislike the I was meaning to tell you trope. And because Julia's sister Becca was a 2-dimensional villain. But they're minor concerns because the story was so very charming!

This mc was so fucking stupid everyone in my house (including my cats) are now dumber for having been near me as I listened to this.

Like oh wow this man looks and acts just like a specific movie star and then goes shopping where he is known as said movie star while the mc is like omg what are you doing impersonating while he never actually denies it being him. At one point she hears he has that movie star name on his id and she's like THAT'S A FAKE ID RIGHT???

The miscommunication/lying from the guy pissed me off like yes she was as stupid as someone spending time watering a plastic christmas tree but just because they are stupid and gullible doesn't make lying okay, smh.

Also her step sister was a caricature of an evil step sibling.
