What if the evil fairy had cursed Sleeping Beauty

because it was necessary, rather than evil

? A tale of friendship, of accepting who each other are for who they are.

Short and sweet with endearing characters, I highly recommend this for anyone who is a fan of fairy-tale retellings that turn the accepted tale on its head.

Really enjoyed this story and the way it was told. I liked the way Toadling told the story it felt very vivid. This was a quick enjoyable reinvention of the sleeping beauty story.

I really love this author. This Sleeping Beauty retelling is great! I love a twist. I love telling it from a completely different perspective. Nothing is as the fairytale would have you believe. Plus it’s got some creepy aspects too. Very highly recommend this quick read.
