really disappointed in this sequel. i had no expectations going into this …. but i genuinely enjoyed the first book. it felt like one of those instances where so many things were happening all at once but somehow felt like nothing was happening at all. none of the characters were as interesting as the first and the new characters introduced were pretty boring. the descriptions of horror and violence were still really good but this plot was not for me
