I’m not into this flavor of book right now. I think it was off-putting to have the female main character described so poorly (scrawny, bony, and almost sickly) during a sex scene.

Summon Us by MT Addams is a small town second chance dark romance.

This is the second book of MT Addams that I have read, and it definitely won't be my last. I was pulled in from the very beginning and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Daisy, Kingston, Wyatt, Drake, and Owen. I loved that we got all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a dark romance, friends to lovers romance, why choose romance, romantic suspense, or second chance romance.

The writing style was difficult for me to get into as it felt like an inexperienced authors first book. There's nothing wrong with being new to a field and naturally they'll develop skills as they progress but I'm at the stage in my reading experience where I find my tolerance for inexperienced writers is short, especially when the book is lacking a decent plot and has unlikable characters. I found a lot of the dialogue cringy and the characters actions questionable. I'm not sure why this has as many high ratings as it does but to each their own.

I love dark romance, the darker the better especially when it is why choose and involves psychotic morally grey men who worship the woman they love…… I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this book as it has everything I look for in a good book and more!! Now this is a thiccc book, but I devoured it. The storyline was intriguing, fast-paced, well thought out, and very dark. I loved the characters, especially
Daisy and not only her strength to survive and fight but that of her men too. The smexy scenes were so hot, depraved, and spicy, especially the group ones… I even went back and re-read some, just because they were so yummy! Overall, it's just a fantastic book I would definitely read again. There are some very dark and heavy themes within this story, so please check your TW and read responsibly.

This is one of those stories that feels like a tv series so you never want it to end because then you feel lost without the thing that took up an hour of your life once a week. But it’s only a book and no matter how much I stretched it out it was to good to put down and it eventually ends and I already miss my psycho friends. This was so disturbing and dark and gruesome in good and bad ways. Bad in all the horrific things our MCs had to endure. Good is that it feeds our dark twisted romance loving hearts. I don’t feel like this story was missing anything I just feel like I would be totally fine if it had been stretched into a 3 or four book series starting with them in high school. This was just so good but like I just can’t get over the devastation of it being over 😩😖. The pacing was really good. The harem was well built but Owen definitely could have used a little more time and connection, even with him being timid and squeamish, I wanted more between them. King and Drake OH MY GOD I loved them so much. Wyatt is just all the crazy golden retriever feels. I think the one thing I personally would have enjoyed, is for it to have leaned a little more paranormal and I also would have enjoyed more offerings to a certain demoness.  *insert evil laugh*What can I say this one had my crazy peeking out a little.

I am only marking this as "read" in leave a review. I DNF'ed at 50% and could have at any point before that. This has got to be the absolute dumbest thing I've ever read in my life. The "plot" is absurd, the characters have no real motivation other than they all "love" a girl who going by the timeline given in the book they couldn't have known for more than about 4yrs. But they all just jump on board without any second thoughts. This book legit deserves negative stars. On top of the fact that it feels heavily heavily heavily ripped off of The Four Horsemen series
