Genuinely couldn’t put this book down. Throughly enjoyed it and was gripped from the start. Will definitely be purchasing more of her books, and recommending this book to others

I wasn't really interested in this one because I really didn't like the point of view of the main character, an 11-year-old girl. Her perspective was of course childish, very black and white, and I wasn't interested in hearing her point of view, especially since she is completely nuts.
The discussion about men vs. women, all men are bad, and how she asks her "boyfriend" to act like he's raping her so she understands what her friend felt when she was murdered bothered me a lot, I think it was made on purpose but I really didn't like the main character's reactions, her lack of trust in adults. She was everything I dislike in children.
It was very dull at some points and I only continued because I had read a review that said the last 50 pages were amazing. The last part for sure redeemed the very dull parts and I really liked the ending, but I had to force myself to get there.

Can't believe I am about to say this but it was actually a little too long! That's my only criticism though. It kept my interest and was super suspenseful. Very believable in the perspective of an 11 yr old in the late 90s which is part of why I loved it so much. Super dark though.
