This book is a collection of mini-essays on building and maintaining a creative discipline. I found some essays more useful than others, but taken as a whole this is a great resource for managing your time and staying in tune with your art. All the essays are brief, but they all get their points across. The book is divided up into sections, and there's a summary of key ideas at the end of each section, which is super helpful if you're using this a reference book or just need a little reminder now and then. This is one I plan to purchase and revisit.

Simple to implement advice on being more productive and creative. Felt a little more like an advertisement of various authors than a compilation of their knowledge. The kindle edition was readable, but probably not as aesthetically pleasing as a physical book.

A super quick read. It doesn't really stun me with new insights, but it's good at enforcing things in a clear and concise way, or giving a primer if you're just starting out reading time management and self-improvement books.

Buku ini berisi 4 chapters yaitu Building a Rock Solid Routine, Finding Fokus in a Distracted World, Taming Your Tools, dan Sharpening Your Creative MInd.
Beberapa artikel sebenarnya idenya mirip-mirip sih.

I’ve decided to take a break on this one. I don’t even know what I want to do when I grow up

Some good stuff in here, but I find it increasingly harder and harder to not look beyond the privilege many authors - especially male authors - have.

I'm not interested in starting a debate, but I keep seeing authors saying things like: schedule in your writing time, lock the door, do not break from this schedule. And I'm a mother and I'm 95% in charge of running the household and being able to do that kind of set-in-stone scheduling just doesn't happen.

And yes, this is likely just my own issue. But reviews are subjective, and I take a star away for not seeing this represented in this book.
