This was a 3.5 rounded up for me. It was a rich story and appreciated that the characters aren’t normally the those whose stories are told.

The first half was very well done, a story that captured my attention and characters that were complex enough, but the second half felt a bit haphazardly done somehow.  It wasn't that I didn't agree with the ending, it was actually an interesting way to end consid ring the main character's flawed interactions with the supporting characters, but it felt a bit disjointed somehow, it didn't flow in quite the right way. Overall it was enjo able enough I'd read more from this author.
