Nothing groundbreaking, but great reminders on how to take care of myself amid being a women who is a recovering perfectionist.

The information on completing the stress cycle was new to me and pretty useful, but the rest of the book repeated mostly-known self-care talking points, and I just couldn't get on board with the way they used the Madwoman in the Attic metaphor 😅. The book is full of good tips and information but I don't have any more idea about where I can find the time to fit in these tips (exercise every day, pay attention and slow down at meals, etc.) as a working parent of two kids under 5. Maybe one day!
