In 1967, in London, a middle-aged wife pursues an affair with a man half her age. This is a story about female desire and more. It looks at the effects of that desire on her husband and her two children as well. There is loss and gain for all of them. The famous permissiveness of the era is some of the catalyst for the woman’s behaviors. But family chemistry plays a telling role too.
