I really enjoy biographies and I appreciate that Si’s hilarious humor shines through his writing as well as it does on TV.

What can I say.. I actually am a sucker for Uncle Si. I just had to read this one and it was okay. Had some parts that really made me chuckle and taught me some things about Si Robertson that I may have never known had I just continued watching him on T.V. Had a hard time holding my interest though so ya, two stars.

The wisdom of uncle Si. If you watch the show you might doubt the amount of wisdom he might have but on reading the book he has plenty of it. He is interesting in both the show and the book. He has lead an interesting life and it leads to an interesting book.

Definitely a great story, and wonderful to learn more about Si's family, as we rarely see them on the show. Scott's chapter made me really sad but I loved reading how Christine knew something wasn't right the whole time. Never doubt a mother's intuition. Great read if you're a fan of the show!

Si Robinson is a great story teller. He has a way of making an ordinary life seem extraordinary. If you enjoy watching Duck Dynasty you will enjoy this book. I learned quite a bit about Si from his childhood to retirement from the US Army.

Si from Duck Dynasty's memoir. He talks about his childhood, Vietnam, his time in the service, his whole family, including his wife and kids, and Jesus. There are funny stories. But mostly it is very sincere. He loves his family with his whole heart. You will like it if you like Si on the show. If you're expecting it to be EXACTLY like the show, it isn't. That's only a part of him. Also it is very short. I liked this, but I wouldn't expect non-fans to be interested in it.
