This one was a bit different from the others! Less politics, more music and people's problems. The ending felt a bit off to me, but I overall enjoyed it.

This is such a beautifully made comic! Also, the story is pretty good. Man, the scene where Blacksad and Thomas go out for Creole food? So. Gorgeous. True art.

The story wasn't anything to rave about, aside from perfectly emulating the noir detective tales, but once again Juanjo Guarnido astonishes with his art. We are even treated to Guarnido breaking down key scenes and explaining his process at the end of the book.
